Office: Brooklyn/Telehealth | Pronouns: She/Her
My name is Campbell Cahill and I am a licensed clinical social worker. I'm dedicated to providing a warm and non-judgmental space to navigate life's challenges. My approach is centered on creating a safe environment where everyone can feel comfortable being their authentic selves. I work collaboratively with my clients to identify goals and develop a personalized path toward healing and growth.
I specialize in child and family therapy, offering a range of services tailored to meet the needs of many different family systems. My practice includes play-based therapy, a powerful and developmentally appropriate tool for helping children express themselves and process difficult emotions. I also provide family therapy to improve communication and strengthen relationships, as well as parent coaching to equip caregivers with effective strategies to support their child through life’s many challenges. I also have a passion for supporting pregnant and postpartum people as they navigate the unique challenges of this significant life stage.
My areas of expertise include working with trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I have extensive experience providing Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy to help people of all ages heal from trauma. Additionally, I am a trained provider of the Circle of Security Parenting (COSP) program, which helps parents build secure and loving relationships with their children. My work with all ages is heavily informed by psychodynamic and attachment-based therapies, which emphasize the impact of early life experiences and relationships on our current functioning.
