Park Slope Therapy
THERAPIST
Danielle Perl, MHC-LP
Office: Brooklyn/Telehealth | Pronouns: She/Her
I am a warm and open clinician who believes deeply in the power of human connection. I work holistically, but foremost from a client centered, relational perspective and find the number one factor of successful therapy to be the strength of the therapeutic relationship. Because of that, I take a pretty active role in therapy, bringing humor and realness to sessions — a style which has made my work with teenagers and young adults very successful.
I have a CBT background, so I often like to use goal setting and structure in my work with clients, balanced with the view that they are the experts on their journey and my role is to walk beside them as part of their team. I am definitely not a one size fits all therapist, and am always actively learning to try and find the best ways to support clients. Overall, I would describe my style as engaged, connected, warm, and no B.S.
