LICENSED CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST AND PEDIATRIC NEUROPSYCHOLOGIST

Arielle Wilson, PsyD

Office: Brooklyn/Telehealth | Pronouns: She/Her

I'm Dr. Arielle Wilson (Elle), a licensed clinical psychologist and neuropsychologist. I work with adults and children in both therapeutic and neuropsychological capacities.

Adult Focus Areas:

  • Adult Psychotherapy: My therapeutic approach draws from behavioral and cognitive-behavioral frameworks, informed by neuropsychology and grounded in evidence-based practice. I specialize in goal-oriented therapy for ADHD, anxiety, and ASD.

  • Adult Neuropsychological Evaluations: I specialize in evaluating adults who suspect they have undiagnosed ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and executive functioning challenges that are impacting their career, higher education or daily organization. I assess for workplace accommodations and extended time on tests like the GRE, GMAT, and LSAT.

Child/Adolescent Focus Areas:

  • Child & Adolescent Therapy: Beyond the evaluation process, I work with kids and families to implement treatment recommendations from diagnostic reports. This often includes one-on-one therapy with kids and ongoing parent consultation.

  • Neuropsychological & Educational Evaluations: I specialize in comprehensive assessments to identify ADHD, ASD, learning disabilities, executive functioning challenges or giftedness. My reports and recommendations are often used to inform IEPs and 504 plans in schools.

I earned my doctorate and master's degrees in clinical psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and completed a generalist internship at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Los Angeles. I went on to complete a formal two-year postdoctoral fellowship in Pediatric Neuropsychology at the Center for Attention and Learning (CAL) at Lenox Hill Hospital/Northwell Health. My clinical training spans a wide range of settings across the Chicago metropolitan area, including hospitals, forensic centers, community clinics, public schools, and children's research programs.

If you're looking for thoughtful, specialized care for yourself or your child, I'd love to connect. Please don't hesitate to reach out to schedule a consultation.
